This is a fun, family day out held at the University of Westminster Playing Fields in Chiswick. Every year group is included from Nursery to Year 6. The afternoon of sport is opened by a colourful parade with House banners and races are split into Infant House and Junior House. The day culminates in a giant House relay race.
School Swimming Gala
The School Swimming Gala is an event involving all pupils from Year 3-6, held at Pools on the Park in Richmond. Pupils swim for themselves and for their House team. It is an evening filled with colour, noise and vocal support. A teachers' race finishes off proceedings!
Inter-Schools Swimming Gala
2013 saw the inaugural Inter-Schools Swimming Gala take place. It involved 5 schools from different parts of London and was attended by 150 swimmers. The event involved races for Years 3 to 6 with lots of cheering and support from all of the teams and spectators. It was a fun and lively start to the school sporting calendar.
The Rudolph Cup
To finish off a long Autumn term, Years 3-6 compete in a Netball and Football tournament, The Rudolph Cup. The children are divided into teams of reindeer. Children from every year group are represented in a team and play matches in a round-robin format. It is a fun, fancy dress end to the first term for the Junior House.
Jingle Bell Races
This is a festive set of themed relay races for Year 2. Races range from 'Decorate the Christmas Tree' to 'Shooting Presents down the Chimney', from 'Reindeer Slalom' to 'Fill the Present Sack'. There is always lots of cheering and festive hats. The afternoon creates a fun end to a busy term for Year 2.
