Year 4 had an amazing and fun-filled three days at Bowles Activity Centre. The children were split into four groups and the activities started as soon as we arrived, with the fun task of making our own beds, much to the dismay of the children.
Over the next three days each group swam, made rafts, went skiing, tested their skills in archery, attempted or completed the leap of faith, participated in teamwork tasks, navigated themselves around the centre through orienteering and had a campfire with songs, games and marshmallows.
We were delighted with the positive attitudes of the children, the perseverance shown during the tasks and the wonderful comments the children had to say about the trip. A huge thank you to all of the staff who attended and helped make this trip such an enjoyable one – in particular to Miss Conroy who lead the trip and to Miss Shaffer, Miss Maynard, Mr Miller and Miss Wilson.
