Year 2 retold the modern story of Baboushka, a Russian woman who hears the news of the birth of Jesus - but at first refuses to listen. The children impressed their teachers with how well they had learnt their lines. The Italian pizza sellers and American tourists managed to master some very tricky accents! Each child played their role with conviction, culminating in a fabulous performance for their parents. The audience were amused by the humour in the play and entertained by the children's wonderful singing. A huge thank you to mums and dads who helped with lines and costumes.
