sportshome080617To round off an excellent year in sport in which we enjoyed a very full sporting calendar, we held our Annual Sports Day on Thursday at the University of Westminster Playing Fields. Despite the blustery day, the children put their whole-hearted energies into every race, with children in the Junior House running for their Houses. The day started with a huge adrenalin rush in the House Tug of War, which raised the roof with the volume of cheers and good light-hearted humour.

This was followed by a series of races including the traditional Egg and Spoon, exciting Sack Race, hilarious Space Hopper Race and sensational Wild West Obstacle Race leading up to the most enthralling of all events - 'The House Relay Race'. There were many close and nail biting finishes but one House dominated the day, which was EAGLE who walked away with the Sports Day Cup. Meanwhile OSPREY won the coveted House Relay Race.

The new addition of the Wellie Boot Throwing Competition added to the fun of the day and we extend our congratulations to the winners - Maya M (2H) for the Infants, Isabella B (4O) for the Juniors and Mr Hodge for the adults. As ever, Mrs Tabor has excelled in her meticulous planning of the day and in the tremendous sense of enjoyment and achievement that she ensures for every child. We are truly grateful to her.
