What an exciting day!

During Book Day our pupils enriched their collective love of reading through carefully planned activities, and peaceful and purposeful reading time alone and with others. Thank you so much to all the parents who have helped make our playground a refuge for the bookworm with such a great arrangement of reading tents. Of course, all of this has been set to a creative literary backdrop and larger than life characters that invaded our school All the staff deserve great credit for their efforts, particularly Miss Schafer, Mrs Dimmock, Mrs Mogilner and Mrs Spicer for their fine organisation and ideas. Once again, Mrs Morey provided us with a spectacular themed cake and Mrs Tabor was a very convincing Elmer the Elephant! Ted Dewan author, did a wonderful job of entertaining the Junior House.

Today also saw the official opening of the school library and we were delighted to see current and former KCF members at the ceremony. KCF have,of course been instrumental to this development project by raising huge sums of money to ensure this wonderful new space promotes the love of reading and learning. We are lucky to have such wonderful parental support.
